In this tour around the outskirts of Santa Cruz das Flores, we recreate the steps of the first Portuguese explorers to inhabit the greenest island in the Azorean archipelago. Departing from Santa Cruz das Flores, we head south to explore the bay of Ribeira da Cruz, where the initial settlement of the island took place. In this area, we will explore caves and caverns that sheltered explorers and pirates for centuries before heading to one of the most beautiful spots on the island, Alagoa Bay.
